We had a beautiful balcony room at the 8th floor of the hotel with magnificent views of prague castle. Minimal modern decor all across the hotel. The location of the hotel is central, staff are accommodating and very good breakfast. Although the surroundings may be noisy at night, sound was not an issue within the room.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough! We have just had a 3 night stay. We were welcomed with a smile at reception into a beautiful lobby area. Our room was beautiful, bed was so comfortable . We booked directly with hotel and breakfast was included - and what a breakfast!!! Extremely high standard with bread baked fresh and coffee freshly brewed . Lots of variety to suit every pallet . Lovely seating area outside . Staff in this hotel were truly amazing - each and every member were kind and couldn’t do enough for us. I would recommend booking transfer to and from airport as you know you are guaranteed a comfortable journey with excellent drivers. The hotel is in an excellent location so central with lovely restaurants and bars near by. Thank you so much for making our first trip to Prague a truly memorable experience and will definitely return

Celebrated my dads 70th birtday in Prague, and we where 14 people.
Very nice, spotlessly clean and perfect location to explore Prague.
The hotel staff was amazing, and each and everyone of the staff really made surere had a great stay. The service level and kindness was above and beyond. Thank you Hotel Josef for a great stay, and I hope the manager take good care of this staff :) 👍
I highly reccomend this hotel, but a little tip is that some rooms had carpet floors .. if you like wooden floors ask for it.

Stayed here 3 nights with family. 14 people in total. Very attentive staff. Very nice rooms. Great bed. Exceptionally good breakfast. Nice yard. Superb atmosphere. After three weeks on the road ending our trip here was a blessing. Best stay on the whole trip.

I highly recommend Hotel Josef in Prague. Since the check-in the staff was perfect, they are always worried about your needs and do their best to make your stay amazing.
Everything works very well at the hotel, the room is beautifully decorated and the breakfast is simply the best you can get in Prague.
