“Take a minute and listen to the musicians”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

This bridge is amazing in and of itself, it is so much more than just a way to connect Stare Mesto and Hradcany - the history of the bridge is matched by the fun of the people watching. The street musicians on this bridge are some of the best I have ever encountered!

“A must”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

Very nice to see and walk through, with a nice view on the castle and on the river (statues on each side of the bridge, some of them being repaired/cleaned).
You can also get to the Kampa island by the stairs (on the left when walking from the old city)

However this place is very very busy in spring/summer ...

For the last four years there were reconstruction going on the bridge. At last it is over and one can fully enjoy it is beauty. It is a beautiful bridge full of history and mythology. It is not just bridge, it is a meeting point of every one.
