“Fun museum for bandits”
Reviewed 16 December 2011

If you travel with kids or grown ups who like watching Bandit movies then this is going to be fun. The effort invested in making this a real museum dedicated to the local legendary bandits is noticeable however, it's private run so don't expect impeccable displays or correct translations on description plates. Still good tongue in cheek fun if you have time.

“A little gem.”
Reviewed 12 November 2011

This small musem is full of interesting information about the bandolero's (bandits). It is located through a small shop, costs next to nothing to enter and is probably the best museum in Ronda for its exhibits and the information in both Spanish and English. We found that at many other sites in Ronda little care had been taken to provide suitable information in the museums. We attended several where the entry fee was much greater with little or no decent explanations.

“Dont go...save the time and money”
Reviewed 24 July 2010

Upfront this sounds like an interesting and different museum experience especially for the kids. Thuth is that it is very small museum (3 small rooms), majority of the museum is a display of old newspaper articles written in Spanish. There are only few translations. I my tourist guide it says that there should be a Bandit Taverna at the museum... but there is nothing.
