Little hidden gem! Went here for dinner whilst we were staying nearby. So glad we did. Can't find one reason to fault it.
Only a small menu of 3 choices for each course but really what more do u want?
Lovely entree if flat breads with 3 homemade dips. Very nice.
For mains i had the chicken & risotto which was near perfect. Only criticism was it was the chicken was a tiny bit dry. My partner had the steak which he said was cooked perfectly.
We were quite full so shared dessert of cheescake with blueberry compote & homemade vanilla bean ice cream. Wow! Definitely couldn't have had one to myself. Very big portion. Recommend sharing a dessert! And all desserts came with home made ice cream which was creamy and perfect. Yum!
The restaurant is quirky with lots of interesting pieces around including some interesting art work on walls. And in a cold night it was nice to have open fire on. After we'd finished we were told we could take our time & sit in front of fire on comfortable lounge and relax!
All in all a lovely experience. We will definitely go back next time in Mountains.
And you can BYO wine if u like. But wine list looked good & prices reasonable compared to other restaurants.
