We stayed in the Old Town Dundas Cottage for a couple of nights with 4 adults and one infant during a roundtrip through Ontario. It was the perfect place for us!
Dundas is a very good location for several day activities. You can for example easily visit Toronto, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake or the surrounding wine country or explore a little more off the beaten path places such as the Farmer’s Market in St. Jacob, Elora Gorge or the Iroquois longhouses and trails around Crawford Lake.
The cottage is located in a quiet street just 5 min walk from the main street with its shops and restaurants. We can recommend the Collins Brewhouse for great pub fare or the Thirsty Cactus for some Mexican!
The cottage was just wonderful! The kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities are very well equipped and Wendie made sure that you will have everything that you might ever need. The cabinet and fridge were even stocked with some food items and fresh fruit on arrival! The house is very nicely decorated, I’d live there, if it was just one room bigger.
We can definitely recommend Dundas and especially the Old Town Dundas Cottage for a stay!
