I stayed at Roses Farm B + B in Oct 2011 after finding thier website via goggle.

The welcome was extremely warm and friendly and the farmhouse is large and spotlessly clean. What I loved the most was the peace and quiet and lack of light polution, a most tranquil spot.

The only thing which let down this oasis in the Somerset countryside was the saggy soft bed in the twin room; however this was soon forgotten when Sally proced a wonderful full english breakfast!

We spent eight days in May and early June at Roses Farm Bed and Breakfast with the hosts, the Looks, taking excellent care of our needs. The bedroom was comfortable with twin beds en suite. Sally Look was willing to remake my bed when I mentioned duvets were not easy to sleep with for me. Traditional English Breakfasts were especially generous and outstanding, with a large choice of foods and fruits. The house sitting room was open to guests, and the Looks knew the many good restaurants and pubs nearby in Somerset, and took care to give directions. Asked about a local laundrette, Sally offered to do our laundry for a reasonable price.

The setting of the house was rural and quiet, a lovely sheep farm. The Looks have won several awards for hospitality and service and well deserved them. The location was excellent for touring in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire, being right in the center of one of England's most beautiful and historic regions. This is a highly recommended Bed and Breakfast.

Room Tip: There are several room pictured on the Website and travelers can choose the one suitable.

Staying at Roses Farm was more like staying with family. Both myself and my boyfriend were completely bowled over by the hospitality shown by both Sally and Andrew.
We had a gorgeous and spacious en-suite room which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb, with a great selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and fruit juices as well as a cooked breakfast menu.
To be honest, words cannot do justice to how lovely our stay was, book and find out for yourself...!

We stayed in this B&B for almost a week and we felt very at home and welcomed. At the end of a long driveway you'll find the house in the middle of a beautiful view of the surrouding fields and hills. Sally and Andrew are the perfect hosts: visit with you when you want to talk and let you go you're own way when you want. They give you advise on where to go based on their own experience of what is in the area. You truly feel you're a welcomed guest.

There is a breakfast room and a living room for the guests. Breakfast is cooked while you are having your coffee, fresh fruit and cereal and I am told the porridge is recommended. The living room is a good place to relax and visit. The bedroom was compact, but is at least as large as the average hotel room. It was also well equipped, very clean and with small touches that make it special. For example, fresh drinking water was brought to the room every day.

We will certainly pay Roses Farm another visit when we are in the area again,

we stayed for 2 nights. Sally is the perfect host, very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Gave excellent advice on local area and places to eat in the evening. So peaceful - will definately be back. Is nice to stay in a real B&B, this is a home that has been made into a lovely place to stay, rather than a mini hotel.
