Just returned from our 3rd stay at the Pavlo Napa and another fantastic holiday in Cyprus.
As stated in previous reviews rooms are dated but spotlessly clean and the pictures of the planned winter refurbishment of the rooms look amazing...the only downside to this is reflected in the cost of rebooking for next year....price has jumped substantially and not sure if it can be justified.
The Hotel has new sunbeds and parasols around the pool area this year making the area look very smart.
The food remains at a high standard..plenty of choice from the buffet breakfast and themed dinners and made to order from the menu at lunch....you will never go hungery here as my scales have shown on return.
The staff do an outstanding job from the receptionist to the cleaners to the waiting/bar staff and the animation team Peter, Paul,Eszti and ILu.
There are daily activities ie water polo, killer pool darts etc with Peter and Paul and kids activities too with the girls.
The diving centre which is attached to the hotel is fabulous...my 12yr old went scubadiving for the first time and had a ball and also made good use of the Watersports at Sandy Bay where the hotel is situated.
Would have to also point out that British numbers were a lot lower than in previous years and a lot more Russian guests who despite attempts by animation team did not integrate with other guests...and some of whom displayed behaviours and attitudes that should not be tolerated in a family hotel...ie drinking and smoking within the pool, argumentative and bordering aggressive at times and also witnessed one deliberatly smashing glass on walkway near where children were playing. They also brough bottles of their own booze to drink within the public areas of the hotel....dont think this would have been accepted if these were British guests but I understand that the Russians are bringing in a lot business into Cyprus which is evident throughout Ayia Napa by the large numbers of tourists from there and businesses employing Russian staff to meet the need....I just do not agree with the need to pander to them if their behaviour is inappropriate.
Anyway this does not detract the quality of service that those at the Pavlo Napa provide and hopefully I will return again for another great holiday in the future.

This is our 2nd year at this fantastic hotel. Right from the start, brilliant, the reception staff, 100% to the cleaners. Deliana & george the pool staff during the day who were brilliant, friendly and there's never a queue & the sun beds which are new and modern. The pool is clean and the hotel towels are highly recomended, fresh everyday. The evening bar staff, the same again, from andrea, daniel and bertsie. Meals are 100% and staff are really friendly especially socrates. The animation team, Peter, Paul, Eszti and Ilu are the focal point of this hotel and do a first class job of fun for all aged kids and adults. My daughters are 11 and 6 years old and never bored, couldn't wait to see Eszti and Ilu to see what fun they had in store for them both and they weren't dissapointed, from face painting to colouring-in to killer pool and darts and many more fun activities which your kids will want to do. Water areobics for adults and kids, were among the daytime activities, night time, a kids disco and movie club for the kids. Just got back and booked for next year, we love it that much. This is a truthful account of the staff and the only fault i have is 2 year we've booked a side view and paid extra money for a look in the car park and was not value for money. We are really excited for next year when the hotel has a new look and the rooms are decorated. But i can honestly say you won't spend much time in your room because there's that much to do. My husband also used the gym alot and he also enjoyed watching the euro's on the big screen outside which Peter and Paul organised on there night off, nothing is too much trouble for his team. Dinner-time menu is top class with a wide range of kids meals made to order fresh. When your a family saving all year for a value, friendly holiday and top quality, this is 100% the hotel you want to be in.

Room Tip: Don't bother with side view's, there's only a handful of rooms with a view. Hotel towels...

Me & my girlfriend have recently returned from a weeks stay at the Pavlo Napa. The room was spacious & clean although we didn't spend much time in there. The all inclusive menu was very good although the breakfast wasn't too my taste it's not just there though I always think the milk is funny aboard. The dinner time menu was good with lots of choice. There was free ice cream & a large selection of drinks with friendly bar staff. Evening meals was the best part of the all inclusive we had different things to eat each night & was too a very high standard. Overall I would recommend the Pavlo Napa with it's great location & service I think we will be coming back next year

Room Tip: We could access free wifi from the bars in the street from our balcony.
