After a thumbs up from a couple of mates I gave Amici a try for a pizza. About 30 to choose from on their menu, from what they call their Classic and Gourmet range.
I finally chose the Pulled Pork offering. As well as the pulled pork it came with red onion, sweet chilli sauce, jalapenos, coriander and mozzarella cheese.
Maybe not the best pizza I’ve ever had, oddly that was in New Zealand, but the Amici effort was pretty good, maybe even pretty damn good. Plenty of topping, good base.
They deliver but I wanted to have a squizz at the place, so turned up for my takeaway.
It was busy with the ‘dine-ins’, will have to try sometime.
Perusing their menu while waiting I noticed heaps of things to choose from. Like what they call their Food To Share, Mains with lots of chicken dishes, steak, salmon, pasta, risotto, salads and a couple of others I can’t remember.
I’ll be back to try another pizza.
