Large room. Very clean with a nice bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were super friendly. Our room was on the highway side so was a lot of road noise. Close to cafes and walking distance to the beach.

Room Tip: Rooms on east side would be quieter.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a refurbished triple on the 3rd floor. The unit was clean and pleasant with a double bed and a twin. There was a clean fridge and microwave with a couple utensils for heating and eating. The bath was modern and water temperature was plenty hot. It's on a busy street, but our unit on the inside courtyard was quiet. There is a beautiful beach 2 minutes away and the bus stops right outside the motel. The folks at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. This is a no frills place to sleep and we would stay again.

We stayed here for a quick mid week break. The motel is located right on the highway & there is construction on the block next door. When we arrived these were my major concerns traffic noise, construction dust & noise. We were happy to get a room on the side away from the road looking towards the beach. This room located almost centre of the building we escaped being given a room near the construction. But having said that our balcony/room did look into the neighbouring block of flats. The check in was easy & the staff very nice. Our room was "interesting" thats the best way i can describe it. It was like staying in someones spare room or borrowing a mates place for the weekend. The room set-up, style & furnishings were really like someones personal furniture & their own personal style. It was a little odd & it was`nt what either of us was expecting.
The room was a good size with a queen bed & a single, the QB had a very odd hospital style red privacy curtain that you could draw across. Red was the "pop of colour" throughout this room being on the bedhead, throw rugs & wallpaper. Along one wall there was this office, desk. The bathroom was tiny & there had been an attempt to modernise it but it was odd like the rest of the room.
I was not overly happy & we did consider either leaving or asking for another room. There are a few reasons we ended up staying the first under cover parking included in the price. It was extremely hot, humid weather at the time & we had our daughters almost new car which we would never park on the street. Ive fallen a few times now for the "old parkings not included" sneaky add-ons at other hotels in the past, so this was a great bonus. Another reason we stayed was because the room was very very clean, even the red lounge....yes you read right red-lounge looked almost new. Add to that a very very good restaurant downstairs, while we didnt eat in the takeaway we ordered was amazing actually. The locations pretty great a 2 minute walk to a small shopping centre, a patrolled beach, a Club, a coffee outlet, walkways, cycleways, parks, playgrounds etc. We did really enjoy our stay but im not sure we would return.

The rooms facing the Hway are noisy even with the balcony door closed.size of room was the usual but i must say the room and bathroom was very clean.Reception was very obliging allowing us to check in hours before regular time of 2pm.the hotel has secure parking and Burleigh is about a 25min walk.this hotel is fine for a short stay.

Room Tip: rooms at back away from hway would be quieter.
