I stayed for four nights - and while I loved the clifftop location with a great view, the downside to this is that it is far away from any other services. Breakfast is huge, but as a walker I wanted to pack a lunch and go out for dinner - it took some planning to be able to this.
The old-fashioned feel to the rooms is nice, however sometimes style gets in the way of function - the claw-footed tub looks great, but if you want to have a shower it is difficult to get in and out of if you have any sort of mobility issues (mine were sore muscles!).
Veronica is a lovely hostess, and I met many nice people here. It is quiet after sunset, but starting early in the morning its a constant stream of tour buses and cars parking in front of the house.
