Very pleasant ambiance, tasty meal, and warm service staff. Though small and tucked away, this restaurant surprised us with cheerful decor and welcoming feel.

Thank Teresa C

Went there on a Friday night (last night) for an early dinner (voucher), straight away greeted by a warm welcome by the person in the bar. We were given a choice of where we wanted to sit. He Showed the menu and explained what we can have. He was very attentive and consistent in his warm and friendly service without being intrusive. Offered to take photo of our family when he saw we were taking shots of each other. Knew when to refill our water without being asked. Even wiped our table clean to prepare for dessert - one of the services I've only seen at Dinner by Heston. Felt bad that I didn't leave tip for him last night so instead I'm writing this review to recognise the great service we had. By the way the food is not bad either. We had the 3 course meal deal and the stand out dishes for us are the satay chicken -so moist, juicy and tasty even without having to dip in the sauce , very generous portion too 4 sticks for an entree. The calamari salad was also good. Calamari is cooked well -very tender, I love the dressing of the salad good balance of sweetness and acidity. Spiced poached pear was so yummy, scooped all the juice out to try and work out what's in it. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Four friends visited on a Thursday night using a dining discount voucher. 3 courses for $65 per couple. I suppose it was ok for the price. The standout dish ordered was the lamb cutlet, although it was only 2 racks and therefore not an adequate size for healthy eaters. The cheese quesadilla was dry and burnt. The mushroom arancini balls (3) were moist and tasty. The chorizo sausage was overcooked but the salsa was nice. The sirloin steak was quite tough and not cooked to requirements.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the restaurant. Visited with vouchers, which at some other restaurants, the menus choices can be restrictive, but not here!

The service was friendly and the food was really tasty. My sister was celebrating her Birthday and they kindly agreed to dress the table with some birthday decorations I dropped off.

Nothing was too much trouble and I would definitely return, even without using a voucher. Highly recommend for a relaxed meal.

Visited twice in 2016 in early evening calm. We used internet vouchers that made the value spectacular, especially with a full bottle of wine for two. Reasonable menu choices and well prepared and presented dishes. Friendly service.
