This place is fantastic with such friendly staff and visitors. It is directly at the ocean's edge and has some of the best ceviche and pina coladas I've ever had. You can take a swim, play in sand, lay on lounge chairs or in hammocks, drink, eat or just chat with friends. Highly recommend!

Zu Ceviche & Brasserie is a small little shack on the beach (Just go right when you hit the beach from the main road) and look for the lighted ZU sign. The service and food is excellent. Its one of favorite little hang outs in Las Terrenas. One of the partners (Carlos) makes a great Caiprioska and you feel the pride of ownership when you visit. The view is spectacular in the evening and the prices are well below market value.

Went here and although the food was tasty, disappointed in that I probably got hustled. Paid $660 pesos for shrimp, but only got like 6 shrimp. I'd say order something else here as the other things we had to eat were filling and delicious.

Good mojito. Some of the worst Ceviche I've ever had. Stale bread on the side. No zesty citrus blast. Tasteless doughy plantain chips. Maybe this is the way it's supposed to be in Dominican Republic but I much prefer Costa Rican and Ecuadorian style. Presentation was lovely. Sorry, I was looking forward to this.
