Really good experience. They came to our hotel to pick us up. We started our journey with Santi going to Cayo Levantado, the beach there is amazing and the water or cristal clear. From there we took a boat and we went to El Parque de Los Haitises. Going with Santi was a great experience since he took us to incredible places with no more tourists. We also went to caves and floating forests. After that he took us for lunch to a nice restaurant which was included on the price and we ate chicken, fish, potatoes, spaghetti... And all of this in a very friendly and fun environment. Very good experience! Thank you so much Santi!!

Great looking place in the middle of El Limon (and with parking space to boot!). Big thatch covered outdoor restaurant with all, the DomRep has to offer: Arepa de Yuca, grilled fish, goat, tostones, fried chicken, lambi, octopus, rice and beans, flan etc etc. The only place in the region having such a choice of well prepared dishes at very reasonable prices. The service, coordinated by Santiago is friendly and efficient. Open every lunch, very crowded on week-ends.

Santi the owner is one those people in life that you meet and never forget he is a true gentleman and offers a warm welcome to all his customers.

The restaurant serves good honest Dominican food with a European twist and additions.
Santi will let you know what the dish of the day is and what fresh fish is available

Santi and Suni in el Limón de Samaná, not only organize excursions
but run a restaurant well loved by locals and foreign residents.

The variety of typical local dishes on offer is vast.
As Suni says, “There´s much more to our local food than just Chicken”
Fish in coconut sauce, Octopus, Conch, (all freshly caught locally)
Goats-meat, guinea fowl, and much more.…
And that´s just a few items on the menu!
If you´re hungry for eggs, potatoes and sausage or Serrano ham … as
the locals say …they´ll turn up!
Sunday is famous for Samaná Sancocho, a delicious local stew made
from a variety of meats and local vegetables.

The prices are low for great food well worth a visit and of course they will organise your horse back trip to the famous water falls of El Limon
I have taken many of my beachtownproperty.com Real Estate clients to Santi to enjoy a great day out with great food and a adventure to the falls

Santi is a place that I would love to revisit and give 5*’s to. We had a first visit on a Sunday (Aug 4th, 2013). On that occasion, we wanted to order their famous Sancocho Dominicano. We were quickly informed that they are no longer preparing this during the summer because it is too hot. OK, we accepted that. We then settled on 3 fish orders and one chicken order. We were then informed that they only had 2 orders of fish. We agreed that we would share among the 3 of us. However, when they returned a few minutes later to let us know that they didn’t have the chicken order for my son, we had to leave without eating. The reason for the 3*’s is because the Presidentes were really cold, the yucca croquettes were really flavorful, fresh and hot, and the waitress offered to get us chicken from elsewhere for my son. Also, the prices on their menu is quite appealing. We would love to return & update this review with 5*’s, if warranted. We feel it has great potential for the true dominican vibe.
