We visited in August 2018 with a party of 15. The food was excellent and the pub was in a lovely location. Would recommend.

Good quality food and excellent menu. BBQ Mackrell is really lovely. Children’s portions are big and excellent value. Staff were really busy and still friendly.

I had a really good vegetarian pasta dish here recently. I was with a large group of people and the general consensus was that the food and service was very good.

Living locally I have always enjoyed going to the harbour on a regular basis and it’s always important to support local businesses but unfortunately in the last couple of months every time I’ve visited and tried to sit out in the lovely weather we are having I’ve been subjected to having to listen to loud music being played at one of the outside tables,I’m sure these people are having a lovely time and that’s wonderful but please could the proprietor not have a quiet word,if you value your business and want all year round support you really need to do something.on my last visit I witnessed many people not even getting as far as entering the main door turning round and going elsewhere, hope this gets some attention as it’s a lovely place and many of the staff are lovely.

Thank you for your feed back, but see no reason to spoil these people's fun as they are loyal customers to us.
The locals you are talking about perhaps come in once a week and I feel are looked after very well, yourself being one of them, you came in for a birthday meal and I sent you a couple of bottles of prosecco over free of charge, we also ordered items in specially for you that weren't on the menu, but whats the saying ........ you can't please every one.
I purposely spent most of this evening in the window by the front door and no-one seemed to mind the music being played or went elsewhere .
