Small cheap rooms where you can't even sit and watch the TV (the sofa faces the wrong way and there were only seats for 3 people in a room that supposedly slept 6). The lino floor was sticky throughout with piles of dirt under the bench where the cleaner had not bothered to pull the stools out. There was food and grime on the surfaces in the kitchenette - it felt like a shared kitchen in a backpackers. Beds are hard. You can't step out of the shower without wiping yourself on the shower door (the shower/laundry combo is in an elongated room so shower door does not open fully). There is no fly screen door on the balcony which looked out on the neighbour's side wall, fence, and bins - not somewhere you would want to spend any time. They will tell you you can walk to the beach in about 5 minutes - they won't tell you you have to cross a busy road and a creek and then get through the bush. Disappointed does not even come close to our awful experience.
