Enjoyed two nights in this fabulous luxury cottage. Ginny and Greg were so helpful and we had everything we needed and more. The organic and natural wines are some of the best i'v tried and being surrounded by vines offers a fantastic back drop. Napier just 10 minutes away.

Thank you. We've tried to put our own twist on the Hawke's Bay experience, so it's great to get such feedback.

It was the perfect place to hold a private function. We booked Haumoana House and both villas for the weekend. Greg and Ginny were fantastic in the planning and preparation. The property was stunning. Every detail was perfect - a real treat for our guests. The estate is very private, with amazing views overlooking the entire region all the way up to Gisborne and we enjoyed classic Hawke's Bay weather - the outdoor pool was used frequently. Simply a perfect piece of paradise catered for modern needs with understated luxury. We have been coming here for years and it is still one of our favourite places in the world.

Room Tip: Haumoana House has the best views, Villa 1 is the most private as it is tucked away and sheltered from the noise of the main house and pool.

This was a return visit for us with friends from America. We came to ride the bike paths and visit some wineries. Additionally we visited from our base at Millar Road, the Cape Kidnappers Gannet Colony, Maraetotara Falls, and Ocean Beach. Breakfast provisions for our French press morning coffee was highlighted by the patio view overlooking the vineyard with views all the way to the sea. The accommodation layout is very comfortable for 4 adults in the 2 BR unit, each with a private ensuite. Towels and linens are top notch, as well as the entire decor. Wifi works very well
The pool is a welcome respite after a day on the hiking or biking trails. Look no further, Ginny was born to spoil you, so come and r-e-l-a-x!

Far enough away from town (Napier and Hastings) to feel like you're in the heart of the country, but close enough to town to eat-out, go shopping or whatever. Beautifully located overlooking a vineyard that doesn't use any nasty chemicals, and magnificent coastal views. Well-designed and very comfortable accommodation. I would not hesitate to return. A special word of thanks to the host, Ginny, for kindly mailing my 'left behind' items, and also for arranging a meetup with the winemaker, Hayden, who talked me through his work and vision for the vineyard (all excellent wines - refreshingly different from the run-of-the-mill mass-produced NZ Sauvignon Blanc). It was a pleasure to have stayed at Millar Road.

Thanks John. Great to have your feedback and to hear that you appreciate the place that we have tried to create. Our winemaker Hayden is a wonderful man and we are very excited about the future of the wine company. Watch out for our new website coming soon.
Cheers
Greg & Ginny

Millar Road was the perfect home away from home while visiting the beautiful NZ wine country! The villa was clean, easy to use, well stocked for breakfast, convenient, and the views were unbeatable! The sliding doors were a cheery on top to both our evenings there! Definitely a piece of paradise I would recommend without hesitation!
