We are just completing a week here as a holiday exchange. We are in two story apartment with bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Beds are comfortable and pillows ok. Kitchen is well stocked with crockery/cutlery. Currently resort is very quiet. Free washing machine and dryer. Parking is not undercover. We drove over to Moens for the day and recommend visiting the Thorsvang Samler Museum. Very interesting. We drove into Stege and had brunch at the bakery which was very good.
We arrived before closing time for reception in the afternoon but they were closed early so would recommend advising them in advance if you are arriving in the afternoon so they can give you a code for key box.

This was a very comfortable apartment, although both bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs (small circular staircase), which may be an issue for some. The beds were comfortable as well as the couches and chairs in the living area. There was good lighting. There is an additional charge for electricity, but this was not bad in September. Good circulation with windows open, but no screens. There is an outside storage shed for bikes, and a nice patio with a table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped--small refrigerator and no toaster, but otherwise everything necessary for cooking. The wifi is good. There is a washer and dryer on the property available for no charge--just bring your own soap. The location is great--just steps from the beach and harbor, with a small but surprisingly well stocked grocery store a 1 minute walk away. This is a small, quiet town; no restaurants or shops in Kalvehave. But, Isle of Mon is close (just over the bridge) with many shops, restaurants, etc. available, and a beautiful place to visit. The resort is ~1 hour drive from Copenhagen and makes a good base for visiting sites in Zealand if you have a car. Nearby, Isle of Mon and Vordingborg are worth visiting. We also enjoyed the Viking museum and cathedral in Roskilde (~1 hour north) and Kronberg Slot in Helsingor (~1.5 hours north). This resort is a great place to come home to after a full day of exploring Denmark sites.

This resort is very misleading from their website. The facilities are clean but very small and has only the bare minimum of furniture. It was clean. The location was excellent and the resort itself has a lot of potential. It was minimally staffed. No information was provided by the resort about places to visit in the area.

We stayed in very spacious 3 bedroom unit for 1 week. The unit was immaculate with lovely furnishings, very comfortable bed, a very well equipped kitchen, dining/lounge area and bathroom. Even the hall area was spacious. The outside terrace was well situated with a water view. The area is peaceful and quiet with a very pleasant walk round the beach and into the forest. There is a small supermarket 5 minutes walk from the Resort.
The Island of Mon is accessible across the bridge, very near the resort, with the delightful historic main town of Stege with its' cobbled streets, little alleyways, lovely shops and another lovely walk at the far end of the town. There are a number of quaint historic small villages on this Island and of course the spectacular Mons Klint - a must visit site, absolutely amazing. The Information Centre people are extremely helpful with maps of the area. There is also Vordingborg and Naestved on the mainland, bigger towns, also worth visiting. The closest restaurants are in Stege. It is a beautiful area.
