We arrived after sunset after driving from Auckland with a camper van. Made a booking with the park 3 weeks earlier. The charming lady at the reception, had my booking ready and gave us a nice place near the office, kitchen, bathrooms, and the pool. It was a bit dark at the power site, bring a torch to go around.
The kitchen was alright, electric stoves, 3 big fridges for your food to store. This July is not a busy season, so don't need a reservation at all, plenty of space.
The office also has some small groceries, but don't expect much. Try to pass by a grocer if you need some stocks.
The showers and bathrooms are very clean, and the hot pools was not busy in the morning, the water has sulphuric smell, and temperature was heavenly for a winter morning. This is just a one night stay, passing through.
Great place for children, there is tennis court, volleyball court, and trikes to rent.

Really happy with our stay here. Last minute plans to go away for the night and we're really pleased with the hospitality of this campground as well as the activities it had on offer. Our studio unit was a great size with private barhroom. And rrally clean. Would definitely stay here again.

We came away for a weekend in our motor home. This place is so relaxing. Fabulous staff, helpful and courteous. The heated pool was 38.4 degrees and just what we needed to relax in on a chilly day. The lounge was set up to watch the All Blacks/ Lions test so heaps of fun. Lovely clean ammenities. This is our second time here. We'll come again. They also have cabins that look nice. Well worth the trip.

Stop at Miranda holiday park on our travels around Coramandel. It was lovely. Very clean and tidy .They had a mineral pool where you go have a dip whenever was so nice and relaxing. It was quite time of year so was not alot people in pool. Would defiantly stop there again which we will as we could not get around the Coromandel because of road slips.

Second time we've stayed here. This place is quite frankly the BEST. The GOLD standard by which all other parks should be measured.

- The sites are well spaced, with a chair, bench and a pleasing bit of green between them.

- It is clean. Spotlessly so. The toilets and kitchen literally sparkle.

- The staff are all efficient and friendly. They greet you with a smile which melts any travel fatigue away.

- It's incredibly well maintained. In the four months between our visits they have built a skate ramp and a flying fox. The mini golf is clean, tidy, fun and free. (Compare this to Orewa Top 10 where their crazy golf is dirty and falling apart.) The tennis is also free, add this the trampoline and chess and my tribe are kept entertained.

- It's got its own hot pool. It's a good size, clean and soooooo relaxing. If all the rest of the campsite was crap, the pool might tempt me back. But the rest of the campsite is faultless!

Miranda Holiday Park - don't get complacent(!) keep up the good work and we'll see you soon!
