An early Sunday morning in the town of Margaret River and we're searching for breakfast. Many cafes don't open until 9 am, too late for early risers who need their caffeine.
Our second pass through town finds us at The Urban Bean, where we're surprised to see Huevos Rancheros on the menu. We've not had Mexican food in ages, so the spouse takes a chance and orders them, not sure what to expect of the Australian version. He proclaims them worthy. I opt for a ham, cheese and red onion croissant, which is tasty, a nice change from the usual croissant offerings. The flat whites are excellent and on our table mere minutes after we’d ordered – good on ya! ($32 total).
Two thumbs up.
