After a long day travelling and enjoying the sights of Launceston we came open this wonderful place. Historically this location is stunning and the food amazing. I started with the lamb neck which was accompanied by man veges and tantalising sauce. My husband had the Catch of the Day which was perfectly cooked. I ended with the death by chocolate. Great selection of wine and beer. Staff very friendly and helpful. A night out in Tassie is not cheap but in this instance the cost was worth it.

The service was slow, it took 45 minutes to get our orders taken and the food when it arrived was disappointing. The risotto was overlooked and the 6 pieces of seafood hard, dry and stewed. Even the chicken was dry.

Fabulous food and great table service from Sebastián to a party of 19. No service at all, after Sebastián finished his shift, and cold room because of a cool breeze blowing through from opened French doors on change of shift. Desserts, coffee and tea not offered and had to ask for table to be cleared, so paid our bill and left to enjoy coffee elsewhere where it was warm. Manager supports her staff to her, not her customers.

We went for dinner while visiting Launceston. Very nice meal but the staff were very busy. Asked for an OJ and was still waiting 30 minutes later. Definitely need more staff but overall reasonable price
