Spent 3 nights with friends at the railway over Easter. The managers were very friendly and helpful, although it's basic the rooms were very clean, off street parking, quiet part of town. No problems for a short stay.

New ownership
Very friendly and helpful.
Got a upgrade with no extra cost.
Beautyful “old” setup.

Our friendly host, Owner, showed us around. Free breaky and BBQ to use for free.

Lot of choice in Taree but this is the best spot.

Friendly guy at reception, even let me wheel my motorcycle into the inner courtyard for security which was good of him. $90 for a single room that was so small there was no room for a bedside table or chair. Breakfast was included but only fruit and cereal. I didn’t bother. You’d have to really like railway memorabilia and other curiosities to stay here. To top it off my neighbour turned his TV on loud at 5 am. Not the hotels fault but the noise readily transferred to my room.

Small rooms but all you need for a couple of nights stop over in Taree. Clean and airy in the central courtyard with lots of quirky bits and pieces all over the place. We found everything wee needed at the Lodge and had a very pleasant stay indeed.
The walk to the train station is a couple of blocks only.
The bowling club next door is also handy for tucker and a beer and you are only a relatively short walk from the centre of town for all your needs.
We will be back for sure.

The rooms although small were spotlessly clean, the manager very friendly and upbeat. The continental breakfast was very good set in a beautiful room full of antiques or out in the bbq area. Full of history and quirky ornaments. Price was great You actually forgot you where in Taree . Will definitely stay again when back over in Taree. Close to shops and hospital. Very quiet no traffic noise. The internal courtyard that most rooms come of was also very nice as well
