We ordered a number of tapas and all were delicious and brought me back to my time in Spain and makes me want to travel to Chile and Peru. Scallop ceviche, potato croquettes, mushrooms, poleta chips, spicy potato bravas and fish tacos are a must for anyone dining here. An unforgettable pleasant surprise is the churros with chili chocolate. Fluffly and cruncy. Latino Loafer is a truly latino gem in Port Macquarie.

Enjoyed a family event recently. Staff, ambience and food was just what we needed. Wine was pretty good too.

Pam Hata was a bonus with some lovely music.

Met with friends at the Latin Loafer in October and was greatly impressed with the selection of plates and the exceptional service. We tried maybe 12 plates with a few bottles of Spanish wine to match. Definitely will be back next time I'm in Port Macquarie. Top class.

Went here expecting a lot more after reading the many excellent reviews but left very disappointed and let down. Firstly we understand the loafer is tapas style dining but what we were served up as a seafood board for two wouldnt have satisfied a 2 year old pigmy child. After waiting in what looked like the maybe half filled room for nearly an hour for our tapas, what arrived on our table was beyond belief for a restaurant so close to abundant fresh seafood. 4 very small, the size of a 10c piece oysters, 4 very small overcooked mussles in their shellls and 3 very heavily battered and over fried pieces of fish slightly smaller than a fishfinger. There was also a dish the size of an eggcup with what we think may have been pickled octopus, heavily garnished with onion. Lettuce, corn and more onion on the side. The wine was good and the service waitress seemingly apologetic and understanding, but having eaten tapas many times before we couldn't recommend a return visit based on quantity or quality sorry guys.

We're locals, but new locals. We've recently moved interstate from Brisbane to Port Macquarie and one of the first things we've done in the last five months is try out as many restaurants as we can (afford). Latin Loafer is among our favourites. Why? Wonderful ambiance, live music on Thursday's, an ample and yummy Seaford Sharing Platter for two and a great wine list. The owners/hosts are committed to a great experience for everyone, whether you want to sip Sangria waterside or get a group together to celebrate an anniversary. You pay for what you get and that's high quality ingredients, creative presentation and taste. We're so glad to be among Latin Loafer amigos!
