Driven past yesterday & saw the sign said "Best seafood chowder"... hmmm OK, no time. Went back for lunch today, "BEST seafood chowder" in town or 'ever' indeed!! Perfectly "just cooked" seafood in a creamy potato/cream soup.
-- would probably prefer sourdough with the dish, the bread was dense enough though.
Fish & Chips - looks typical, but Dory was absolutely fresh!
Desert - cheesecake (the while roll) with honeycomb, caramelise source, perfectly light bitter taste. Happy with it!
may be with some "blue pea flower' would looks absolutely stunning
The verdict: "The Whalebone Wharf Seafood Restaurant" on Hasting river drive: definitely going back for Chowder!
To top it, this tiny little bird was my companion of the day!
