We had a lovely weekend stay at Tunnel Ridge Outlook. Jason was a great host, giving us lots of recommendations on where to eat and visit. The scones on arrival were seriously delicious. The views from the apartment were absolutely stunning as was the apartment itself.
Can’t wait to visit again. :)

Loved our stay at Tunnel Ridge Outlook. It was the perfect spot to adventure out from during the day and to chill out at in the evening. Handy to spectacular walks, beaches and Australia Zoo. Could have done with a day or so extra to have time to curl up with a book and enjoy the garden and the pool. It is in a truly awesome setting with Brilliant views. Jason was a great host, makes great scones, and filled the kitchen with lots of little extras that made our stay all that more special. Thanks again guys for sharing your “special place” with us.

As part of a trip to Aus, my daughter and I booked a stay at Tunnel Ridge Outlook due to it's proximity to Australia Zoo, (around a ten minute drive), and the wonderful looking accomodation and setting. We were not disappointed!. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the place, the lush tropical garden setting, and the gorgeaus accomodation. Our host, Jason, was so attentive, lighting the wood burner for us, and even welcoming us with a tray of home baked English scones. The accomodation is actually the lower level of the house, but has it's own private access. It is a delightful place for two people to stay, oh so homely, well equiped, and so cosy with the wood burner. The hosts have thought of everything in terms of creature comforts and extra touches, and the views all around are to die for. Being June, the pool was a bit chilly for swimming in, but it was wonderful to sit around it and relax none the less. We only had a couple of nights, which was not really sufficient to tour the beautiful sorrounding area. Ideally, this is a great place to base yourself for a few days to relax and visit the lovely countryside and beaches that are within easy reach with a car, (if you can bear to tear yourself away from your wonderful accomodation that is!)

Thank you Jason and Lawrence for your hospitality. Tunnel Ridge Outlook gets our vote as one of our favourite places to stay of all time! If only we were able to "pop back" sometime soon! (Just as well we can't as we would be tempted to keep your place a secret for fear of all the Trip Advisor customers booking!)

N.B There are a lot of stairs leading down to the accomodation, so not for anyone who has difficulty with those.

Excellent customer service, beautiful property, thoughtful host and relaxing atmosphere. That's what you get when you stay here. Jason was thoughtful with his suggestions of where to take photos (my hobby), where to eat, where to visit. The space was clean, comfortable & modern. The view beautiful, the bed comfortable and the location very handy to Maleny, Montville & Calounda. The lights that come on at night on your deck & the pool area - amazing! Thank you for sharing your paradise.
