They definitely don't make them like this anymore! A very beautiful railway station maintained with love and care. Loved the ladies dressed in period costume. The art gallery on the top floor is worth a look too!

If you come in this way, stop and look around, if passing thru like we were then spend a couple minutes checking it out. Special trip to see, maybe not but it is worth a stop and look .

Exquisite architecture inside & out! Luckily, we arrived only one day before the below flowers were removed for the end of summer/fall. Wonder what they feature in winter?!

An eclectic design by an architect nicknamed “Gingerbread George.” Just the same, a very attractive structure with beautiful gardens across the front. It is still an operating station, and it also houses the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame. If in Dunedin, be sure to take the time to walk down to the station and take a look – inside and out.

This is a rather beautiful old building with a pleasant garden out the front and trains out the back. Free to enter and gawk at the fancy interior.
