Recommended by a local, I dined here with a business associate at the last minute n a quick trip to Wellington. The menu was much trickier than i anticipated and we considered finishing our drink and going elsewhere, but decided on sirloin with bone in and turned out to be one of the beast steaks I've eaten in a restaurant. Moist, succulent and cooked perfectly. We chose three sides - Crispy Artichokes, Roast Pumpkin and Marbled Potatoes and these were so good that we considered being vegetarian wouldn't be half bad with options like this. Shared a scrumptious bottle of Man O War and enjoyed desserts paired with wine too. We sat in the bar as restaurant was fully booked when we made a reservation that evening. The volume became too loud for conversation when a party of 4 rowdy businessmen arrived right next to us at the bar. Super friendly and informative staff. I'm pretty sure we were served by Moses who was an absolutely charming young man. Definitely recommended this place for a fine and memorable meal.
