If you are looking for a late lazy brunch on a weekend with your family/friends along with kids/pets this is the place to visit. Not sure what the arrangements are on a week day as I have been to this place on weekends. If its a nice sunny day this place is the perfect location to visit. Parents may want to keep a watch on their kids as the café lawns opens onto the main road (the road is not that close but precaution is advised). This place is designed to keep the kids busy as the parents have a well deserved brunch, there are so many kids cycles/tricycles that the kids will enjoy. Pets too are welcome at this place. The food and view from the café is fantastic. The drive to the café via the Shelley bay road is quite amazing. It is a good option if you want to kill some time from/to the airport. The price of the food is quite reasonable. Good outdoor seating using the bean bags or the seating available on the lawns or the outdoor area, or just get your picnic mats and make your self comfortable on the lawns and the food will come to you once ordered (P.S - I have never sat in the café) Always recommended you carry a jumper just in case the weather changes:) A must do if you are visiting Wellington.

I love the relaxed atmosphere, the choice of indoor, outdoor or covered deck and the toys provided for children so their parents can relax.
The food is consistently good and the crayfish omelet sandwich is always my favorite.

There are so many cafes in Wellington that it's hard to choose but I was very happy with our lunch here . The cafe is situated in next to the sea which is lovely and is a cute and welcoming place on a cold day or in summer as you can sit in or out. Our coffees and seafood chowders were brilliant and the beef burger an interesting deconstructed version which looked a really tasty and healthy option. Prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be back.

This place is unbelievable. In the world of gourmet burgers who would have thought that a Bacon Scallop and Black pudding was the best burger ever and that’s no mean feat.
Menu is extensive and amazing.
Only problem with this place is it’s too good so much to choose from and setting is great in Shelly bay and staff are friendly

I regularly take a detour from the airport to eat here. The location is wonderful and there are so many great places to sit, both inside and out. The food is excellent and there is always a warm welcome by the lovely staff.
