If I ever open my own B&B, I want to make it as much as possible like Airlie House. A big room with high ceiling, good bed and luxurious linens, a soaking tub and additional shower, a fan for hot weather, wonderful amenities like Fiji coconut bath oil and a selection of cookies and drinks is presented on a tray. The breakfast, both cooked and continental, was extraordinary. And Gabrielle is so helpful with guiding you toward the highlights of the area. I hope to stay here again!

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the soaking tub!!

Best Bed & Breakfast we ever experienced. Nice character home with charming gardens. Excellent room, well maintained, clean and cozy with attention to detail. The room was spacious with its own little kitchen and super modern bathroom. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable. The location is extremely handy to the city centre with shopping and Restaurants just a 5 minutes away. The breakfast was very good. Everything was fresh and very tasty and the atmosphere just perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend and in fact, we will go again in the future.

Room Tip: They are all great.

What a find! This B and B surpassed our expectations. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. Ours even had underfloor heating. Gabrielle is a delightful host and she makes fantastic cooked breakfasts. Airlie House is well placed for exploring the CBD on foot.

I was leaning towards another property highly recommended by every guide book, but so glad I reconsidered and chose to stay in town at Airlie House. This is a beautiful old home with high ceilings and big rooms. We were on the ground floor overlooking the lovely garden. The fence and the greenery did a good job of muffling traffic noise and this is a sleepy town, after 11pm traffic really dries up. The bathroom was tiny, but sufficient and heated floors were a wonderful perk. The beds were great and the room itself was huge. Gabrielle has a sitting room with a fridge that guests are free to use and includes free water and snacks. She whips up amazing breakfasts and she's a font of useful knowledge and recommendations. The home is walking distance to downtown which was wonderful and it's an easy drive out of town too. I wish we could have stayed longer, and I am so relieved we did decide to stay here.
