This was a very pleasant surprise... We booked this location due to the great value, and we were VERY pleasantly surprised by the experience! Brad was an excellent host, and the rooms were very comfortable... the chickens in the yard supplied DELICIOUS eggs for breakfast along with great homemade bread! very quiet location, just a few blocks from the town center. It would have offered a wonderful view of the mountain if the clouds would have cooperated!

Set back off the main road in a quiet street, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome and tour of the property.

Brad and his lovely wife are hospitality naturals, the right amount of attention and conversation.

Bedrooms, bathrooms immaculate and a breakfast of eggs from the garden and home made bread was first class.

Stunning views off the front deck and entertaining dialogue and stories. I really felt a guest at someone’s home rather than a customer.

Hats off to them, this place is a gem!

Stayed here for the night after a small road trip.
Not a fault with the place. Bedroom was great with everything needed and a really comfortable bed. Bathroom was new and everything so so clean.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Must try the home made bread and fresh eggs.
Brad was also really good to chat with and full of knowledge.
Would recommend for everyone to stay here

I stayed here only for 1 night and it was the best host, Brad is awesome, has a wealth of knowledge about the local place. He and his wife are very warm and welcoming. Beautiful view of Mt Taranaki from his front deck.

Room Tip: Room was comfortable.

Delightful B&B a bit out of the town center but in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with an amazing view on Mt. Taranaki. Brad, the host, was very nice and helpful, gave us very good tips for things to do and places to eat. And made us a delicious breakfast with free-range eggs from his own chickens. Fantastic! We also loved the interesting conversations with him about NZ and life there. Our room was a bit small but very clean and a very comfortable bed. Would come back any time!
