Our stay was 2 nights in the very large bedroom upstairs with the balcony. It had lovely views out over the city and further towards the sea The owners are very helpful and friendly, also very particular to keep their historic home in the original state.
The website stated a private bathroom. This bathroom was on a lower floor, down a small flight of stairs and had to be shared if more guests were staying at the same time. This we found disappointing.
Because of the polished timber floors, we were asked to leave our shoes by the back door, which is used as the entry. No shoes were allowed inside, this is a bit unusual for a B&B in this price range.More
