The best stay on our North Island trip, very well appointed room with everything you need for an overnight stay, quiet off the main street on a side street but not too far from town for some were to eat & shopping. walking distance to the beach.

A great place to stay, but perhaps a little pricey ($242) given that it's not in the CBD.
The unit was comfortable and had the necessary facilities in good condition and ready to be used. The staff were friendly and approachable - we asked about the room heating and the best park to go to. The price is the only thing which will determine if I return.

We stayed at fancier places and other mom and pop type motels in New Zealand and this was our favorite. Right off the receptionist offered me a carton of milk when we were checking in. As an American, I found that really odd but super welcome. I was thirsty and it tasted great. So thoughtful! And the room - wow. Very modern and classy. Our tub even had jets and a spa pillow. The kitchen was nice and roomy. It was all great. Location was quiet and close to the beach. Parking was easy. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your lovely review. Giving milk out at check in, is a standard practice, as we like our guests to relax with a hot or cold drink once getting into their room. we look forward to seeing you again in the future.

This was a nice unit. Modern uncluttered well-designed decor. Fabulous bathroom. For those with any sort of mobility issues, the bathroom is one of those wet-room ones - there's a seat in the shower area, hand rails, a removable shower head and great water pressure in the shower. The beds were comfortable and there was an air conditioning unit. Kitchen facilities included microwave and benchtop elements. There were two TVs, one of them had most Sky channels. Wifi access came with the unit and there was also a plug to connect directly for the internet. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board provided. The motel has a laundry. Close to beach.

We arrived here after moving from another Motel because of Traffic noise.
We had a separate bedroom ,which I prefer. The units are first class with double glazed windows.Small kitchenette with plenty of utensils Everything very clean and plenty of hot water.Yes lovely and quite.easy walk to the beach. We even walk to Te Wika ( not sure of the spelling) Bridge.Yes Brent the manager was very helpful nothing was any problem to him.We will definitely stay here again if we come to New Plymouth.
