Well done Napier. Amazing variety of things to do and see. Always some activity on there. Wished our local community did something similar. Great boardwalk.

I am a huge fan of the Art Deco style, and had absolutely no idea that I would see so much in Napier. Lots of people strolling up and down. Great atomosphere. On a sunny day it’s the perfect place to people watch.

We enjoyed our time strolling in Marine Parade. While we were there, a fully kilted bagpipe player was performing.
Plenty of seating to people watch.
We took the opportunity to go into the black volcanic beach and have a quick paddle in the sea.

It was on a drive through tour which took us to all the places of interest in this lovely city. Very friendly locals and not a scrap of litter in sight all day. You must go if you can.
