Had late night dinner on a rainy day. Food was average. Service as well as taste were below the expectations. Poor ambience as well.

We stopped here for dinner and it felt like we were putting the server out by wanting to eat.We had to ask for water, ask for a plate, ask to pay.
The food was fantastic but the service was enough to not make you wa t to go back.
In short terms: unfriendly, lowest level, uncorteous service, 3 out of for ordered drinks (which were on the drinks list) "sold out", duck menu without meat but just bones instead, wonton soup with disgustingly tasting filling (impossible to eat) and last but not least on seeing that we did not eat all this, no asking whether there was a problem! Beware of this "Restaurant"...
We each ordered a main for ourselves.
One dish came, but 5 minutes later the second dish hadn't arrived, so I queried it with the waitress only to be told it was on its way. 3 minutes later it hadn't arrived so I went to the duty manager and queried why the delay. I was told the second dish took 20 minutes to cook. I understood that so why send out the first dish?
I was told that Chinese share dishes hence the delay between dishes.
So if you are not a Chinese diner make sure you specify that you want both dishes to arrive together at the same time.
Having got over the confusion with the service, both dishes were excellent. Quality ingredients and great flavours, well cooked.
My wife and I dined here last weekend and were impressed with the meal size and how good it tasted. We shared a few options and the food came out quickly and without much fuss. Service is prompt and efficient just like in Asia, no informal chit chat. The food comes out as it is ready again just like in Asia. But overall it was a good feed.
