Service was very poor, staff served right food over people across tables and end to end. They missed an entree completely.
Bread & dips was plain, garlic breads with no garlic.
Otherwise the mains were good.

Now lets talk about the venue.... There's a mix of so many different themes going on (Japanese style bamboo roof, old English style tables, minimal spirits on a large wall designed for a huge variety yet not present, tv on wall with all cables dangling, strange fold out screen to limit full view of toilets from dining area.

Such a great place to dine with an epic view. Mussels were really good, scotch fillet was cooked to perfection. Brownie was the best ever! Great pricing, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Just absolutely appalling.
Bread & dips consisted of 3 supermarket bread rolls & a minuscule dish with oil, tapenade & pesto.
Seafood hot pot tasted identical to watties tomato soup with few pieces of seafood? - chewy at best.
Steak was ordered medium rare & arrived over cooked and somehow cold in the middle.
Chef seemed to also be the waiter and bar attendant.
Looking around, other guests looked less than impressed and a little bemused.
There are so many restaurants in the viaduct, please don't waste your money here.

The food was pretty good.
The blue cheese sauce with the steak was bloody great.

The seafood hot pot has heaps of fresh seafood & was well worth every cent.

Service, big, big tick.
Friendly, courteous & obliging.

Just the stark nature of the decor leaves you feeling underwhelmed upon entry, luke you’re on a pub porch.

Don’t be fooled, food is worth eating, but it is very basic & could put off the odd diner.

Enjoy

Took family to the V grill to give them a break from Starship hospital so we went to the V grill at about 2:15 the waitress who met us at the entrance obviously didn’t want to be there she led us to a table and when I asked if we could sit in the sun she did not appear to be very happy about us wanting to move however she did seat us then for proceeded to spray cleaner on the table and wipe it down while we sat there telling us they closed at 3. Any way a table became free on the deck so we moved there and ordered a meal which appeared to be a major chore so after a wait two steaks arrived and an egg plant salad one t bone steak was supposed to be 450g looked more like a big lamb chop with grisel tasted ok nothing to rave about the salad consisted of mescalan and red onion with one olive chopped into three would fit in the palm of your hand as in it was garnish At the end of the meal I asked for a coffee and was told the machine had been turned off as it was after 3.
The vibe of the place was not welcoming the tables where broken as in pieces of plastic missing from them and the plates where from different sets which just stuck out like dogs balls beautiful setting crap service and food and at the cost of $118 would have been nice to have enjoyed the company rather than feel like an inconvenience and the case of the squirts was just the icing on the cake
