This has been the hang out of choice for hipsters for years, it remains forever eclectically groovy and is full of artists and liberals. It’s like stepping into Portland.

The food is fresh and all of the frees, gluten, processed, over priced, trans fats, sugars they all don’t live here. So you can be sure of healthy fare that tastes and looks great.

Just love the vibe and selection of great dishes and drinks that will refresh and refuel without making you bankrupt.

Thank Sandy H

Loved the food!!! Modern tacos and an argentine corn bread version was beautiful and unique. Super special was the atmosphere and service. Walk through a cozy inside space and bar, past glassed in kitchen areas, to a nicely heated back patio. In addition to quick and attentive service from the waiter, we also heard the story of the decor. In typical Kiwi fashion the place was hand built by the owner and when you see the tiles and adobe style kitchen you'll understand how much work that probably was...good effort!

We had lunch here on Saturday afternoon. It was a little difficult to spot from the footpath - almost went straight past. The interior decor is quaint but spacious and comfortable. Our waiter was so helpful and attentive providing us with excellent advice on the food options as we had not eaten Argentinian food before. His recommendations were great. We had the tacos with the slow cooked meat options - divine. The arepeta or corn bread was great too. Will definitely go back sometime

What an amazing little place, virtually hidden, in the bustling Ponsonby strip. I've been a few times now, mostly for drinks in the evening and finally to taste the food from the menu. Staff are all very friendly and efficient, pointing you to a free table which might be out of sight in the rear garden area. Cocktails, especially Piscos, are very good and there is an excellent selection of craft beers. There is a really chilled ambiance and I suppose because of the record side of the business, the music is really good too.The food is delicious and portion sizes above average. Tacos were thin and delicate but heaped with so much filling, it was hard to spill them. You'll never want a standard french fry or chip again after you taste their Yucca Chips.

We've had breakfast at this fab little establishment several times now and it is definitely worth it to go back. Delicious breakfast and wonderful coffee. Highly recommended.

Just one small thing, we sat near the pizza oven and were downwind which got a bit smokey. We also had to wait more than 25 minutes but they were very busy.
