Was very good, now only good. They were very good because the staff had been well trained, and were excellent. They seem to have fallen into the trap that staff training not as important, and they let themselves down. Food is excellent, although expensive for breakfaast, and pricing themselves out of the market.

Well, things are not as good as they use to be. We have been going there since the place opened.

They had great staff and as soon as you walk in they know you and treated you well.

That has changed and not to the better.

Food quality has suffered as well.

One thing hasn’t changed and that is the bad cooking smell you get. All your clothes smell pretty bad and we go home and need a shower. Staff seems to be apologetic about it, not sure if this will ever change.

We had enough, spend over the years hughe amounts there, but it’s time to say goodbye for ever.

Really sad as we had mentioned that before.

Visited as two couples for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Only had mains but the food was exceptional with innovative flavours that would not be out of place in a more upmarket establishment. Scotch fillet and pork dishes were complimented with sides of brussells sprouts with a delicious almond nutty flavour. Casual atmosphere belies the fine dining standard of the food. And on Monday and Tuesday evenings it is BYO for wine. Not cheap but highly recommended.

Went with my 3yr old son and Father. Cold, sunny winters day. Brilliant lighting throughout the cafe with fantastic views of St Heliers. Plenty happening outside to keep my boy occupied and happy. Amazing malt and honey milkshakes. We had the hummus platter and corn fritters. Brilliant service, incredible food!!!!

Some of the best views and food in St Heliers. Come early as bookings are unavailable, however there’s great gelato and coffee to be had while you wait for a table - also available to take away. Not really ideal for small children as space is limited, but a relaxing spot for adults to enjoy good food an a glass of wine or two.
