The Standard is dominated by the long bar which is very well stocked and has lots of bar seating for those wanting a drink. The industrial decor and lively music give the place a funky feel. The menu has good variety of snack, medium size and larger dishes, great for sharing. We went for the fried chicken, the baked goats brie, pork and chicken croquettes and the BBQ Korean chicken. A delicious shared plate experience with the goat's brie a stand-out dish. The Kaffir Lime mousse for dessert was also outstanding.
The drinks menu is comprehensive with some imaginative and great sounding cocktails. Great service and reasonably priced. An ideal location for the younger set but as part of the 'older set' we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Recommended!
