beautiful day , good location and theres like 2 other tables occupied - I was worried , and quite frankly horrified the owner/waiter had no clue what a proper bruschetta was ... then the sparkling mineral water wasn't sparkling and the wine was warm ... the specials risotto was disgusting in texture and taste, and looked like something unmentionable ... never ever again ..never

We arrived fairly early and the restaurant was empty which made us wonder what the food would be like but no worries, it was very good. The pasta with meat sauce was great as was the tomato basil soup the pan fried Italian sausage was not what I had expected but the rest of that dish was good.

This was our third visit here recently.
It is not fancy but has an enormous menu... something for everyone. There is a wood fired oven. It is BYO wine with a minimal corkage fee and decent wine glasses to drink from. Tap water is also filtered. Service is adequate.
In our experience the food has been reliably excellent. We took our adult children there recently also and they very much enjoyed their food. One of them is also a Vegan and she found plenty on the menu to eat.
I recommend the Duck 'l orange on risotto ( duck falls off the bone) and the pastas we have had have been delicious.
The restaurant decor could do with a bit of a makeover - or even some plants and partitions as it is very open and certainly not intimate.
We were too full on one visit to eat desert and the staff arranged a "mini" birthday treat of some lovely chocolates with a birthday candle to celebrate - free of charge. it was a lovely thought.
We will return soon to try more on the menu.

I had 4 dinners here whilst staying across the road at the Sebel apartments in February.
I had eaten here often during previous trips and have never had a bad experience.

Well done to Claudia and Aida - lovely ladies with beautiful smiles, they made every meal a pleasure.

Thanks so much for everything, see you when next in the west.

Great place for us to take our family, caters to all their tastes, well priced, byo wine. The tables are not squashed together so it is easy to hear each other without having to shout. I really enjoy the food and have never had a bad meal. We visit lots of times.
