This is my new favorite restaurant in Perth. We shared tapas and everything that came out was full of flavour and delicious. It is the hidden little places that are always the best! I highly reccomend if you love thai food.

Fantastic food, just so good. The Tom Yum soup excellent with great flavour without being over spiced. Terrific. The Duck curry brilliant and the lamb cutlets absolutely spectacular. Gyoza well cooked but filling too sparse. Will be going back for sure and soon. I have never been a big Thai foodie fan, but this place changed that. A bit expensive but the 20% off winter special brought it back to normal. Great place.

A Birthday get together of some friends and family led us to one of our favourite places in Perth...Red Opium. These guys always nail the variety, flavours and service that set them apart. Such gorgeous choices to share. The newbies were almost gagging at the value...AND the fact that they'd spent so much time and money at places that now seemed 2nd rate ! Poor things. Now they know. If you want to eat in a funky, yummy, BYO [!] restaurant that doesn't break the bank, Red Opium is the deal...ideal.

Having been here a few years ago we organised a special birthday dinner for a friend here. It was terrible! Whilst the staff were friendly, the food was almost inedible- very oily, fatty, not at all flavorsome and spicy like you expect from a Thai fusion. I’m not sure what the chef thought they were making but we will not be going back!

Visited this resturant on a Tuesday night with my partner, when we walked into the resturant it was empty so we already had our doubts but decided as we were already there to give it ago. Wrong decision. Food was very poor, we picked 5 tapas style dishes, the pork skewers smelt very bad, almost like the meat had gone off, the gyozas were bland and tasteless and came with no dipping sauce, the king prawns tasted ok but the sauce that came with them tasted like a bowl of sugar. Each entree was between $15-$20 so I was very disappointed. Will not be going back. Totally Thai resturant is still my favourite.
