We had a quick drink here prior to going to Epicurean for dinner. The atmosphere is beautiful, with the piano being played. The cocktail that I had was lovely, although a little pricey.

I would be keen to come back and try the espresso high tea.

The venue itself is amazing. Beautiful Art Deco inspired furniture and chandeliers above the bar. Beautiful cocktails at reasonable prices. (Try the salted caramel espresso martini) the only thing that let it down for me was sitting in this beautiful setting were people in ugg boots and what looked to be pjs. The service was amazing as were most of the cocktails I tried. Got a little busy so we moved onto the lobby bar at Metropol instead

Dropped in for a late night cap after dining in the Crown Complex and have a Andre around the recently opened Crown Tower. Beautiful designed and fitted out room that TWR occupies. Highly attentive and courteous staff.

Extensive drink list but be warned make sure the credit card can handle it!

Worth a visit and drink but wouldn't spend the night there as it would blow the pay packet.

Seeking a place within the range of restaurants and coffee shops within the Crowne complex to meet for brunch on a Sunday. No was the answer from the website. That is a problem was the answer from the phone. Third try the 'consultant' said the Waiting Room at Crowne Towers would do coffee/ tea/ drinks and a limited menu from 10.00 am.
We ordered tea and coffee, received 1 coffee and 2 teas for $17.00 and 'sorry there is no food available'. Not so good for travellers wanting food before heading to the airport or locals trying to extend hospitality to visitors.
Very disappointing.

The Waiting Room in the lobby of Crown Towers offers a blend of style and romance.
My suggestion for a romantic interlude - try the seafood tapas, which includes fresh oysters, prawns, a decent serve of sliced smoked trout, scallops in their shell with a buttery thyme dressing, lemon wedges, and a sprawl of cracker biscuits. Have this with their dry reisling and finish with their coffee and a glass of brandy in a wide glass so you get the fragrance in your nose. The coffee is very good. Take your favorite person there - your wife will love this little romantic spot. No doubt she'll brag about you to her mates for the rest of the week - but you can handle that.
