We intended to go to the Fraser's Restaurant at King's Park, but we were told that there were no table available. We then went to the cafe next door which is also operated by the Fraser's Restaurant. It was a very simple restaurant (from decor to service). You have to order your food at the counter and take a number with you, the food was then delivered to you according to the number. I had the prawn linguini (AUD$18) and my husband had the fish of the day (grilled snapper, AUD$24.50), the linguini was rather tasteless and dry, the string beans was way undercooked, the fish on the other hand was over cooked. I expected at least decent food given that the cafe is also operated by the Fraser's Restaurant, it turned out very disappointing. On the other hand, if you can get a table with a view, you get a view of the ocean and the city, which was spectacular.
