These apartment units are very nice. They contain upscale furnishings and excellent, high quality equipment in the kitchen. The laundry facilities in the apartment are a real plus. Our apartment was clean, very comfortable and quiet (even though a swimming pool just in front was used a lot by children and adults). The buildings and grounds are very attractive and well-maintained. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. Given that the location is in Cable Beach, a major tourist area near the beach, these apartments provide very good value given their high quality. When we stayed, one could have paid more for a simple motel room.

We stayed there for 5 nights and sad to have to leave. Great location, staff are very helpful, the rooms and very clean and tidy. Its an easy walk to Cable Beach, many cafe's and bars. We intend to go there again very soon.

Room tip: All the rooms are good and very similar

Blue Seas was ideal for a one night stay after several days on the road. The rooms are huge, with a separate living area, kitchen, and a washing machine and dryer - a real bonus.
The units are quite densely packed around a courtyard with swimming pool, and you could not call the surroundings beautiful, like the Bali Hai for example. The location is ok - not far from Cable Beach, and the staff were welcoming.

Stayed here for 4 nights before picking up a campervan in Broome for road trip to Perth. Found the apartment very comfortable. Had lots of space, with seperate seating area and small kitchen area. Pools were very nice we liked to walk back from beach at end of day and then spend some time in the pool just relaxing. The small seating area outside the apartment was just right for 2 people. Bus stop virtually outside the door where you could get the bus into Broome, we went to see 'staircase to the moon' and extra buses were put on to get people back to cable beach. Very convenient location, quiet but close enough to walk to Cable Beach and attractions

Let's start with the positive -- the Blue Seas is a dense collection of spacious self-catering apartments. They feature a bedroom, a semi-separate living room/kitchen, and a fairly basic bathroom with shower. The apartments include a nice kitchenette and en suite laundry facilities. It's all pretty well laid out, clean, and relatively well-maintained. The Blue Seas is about 10-15 minutes walk from Cable Beach, and a shorter walk to various dining establishments and bars such as The Zookeepers, Zanders (Cable Beach), and Divers Tavern. The staff are friendly and helpful (when they're around). This would be an excellent place for families with small children, and indeed that seems to be the core of the clientele.

However, I think it is -- at best -- aspirational to call this a "resort". To me, a resort includes a restaurant, spa, gym, and other amenities. The Blue Seas has none of these. It has two very small pools, too small to swim a lap and really only suitable for children. Other than that, there are no real amenities at all -- no food, no store, etc. All the rooms face these small pools, as there isn't any view to speak of here, away from the beach.

This would work well for some, but one should know what to expect.

I had only one major complaint, and that is that the WiFi connection here is so slow and unreliable as to be basically useless -- one doesn't come to Cable Beach for WiFi, but it helps to stay connected, and it really doesn't work here.
