Myself and group of friends had coupons entitling us to 2 drinks and a meal each. We made a booking for 20 people (which was confirmed by Chi Lounge to be fine) but at last minute 2 people couldn't make it. The remaining 18 showed up at the lounge as planned and were blatantly refused service because we were 2 people less than what we had booked. We left sad, disappointed and ripped off.

Enjoyed the night as I was with a great group of girls for a hens night. The music system was self managed and to be honest not the easitest to use, also found the selection to be mediocre. On the other food and drinks in the package was great value and we all had a fantastic night.

We went here for a hens do and were told when we wanted to leave after a few hours that we needed to pay over $500?!
We asked for their reasoning behind this and said we were charged per head and it was a minimum of $40 per head. When arranging this I had spoken to people twice from the establishment and they never thought to mention this?
Taking advantage of people who drink too much and then you try to leave and you are caught.

We refused to pay more than what we had owed and decided in the end to come to "some" arrangement and left only $100 out of pocket.

This all wouldn't have been an issue if they had told us about it in the first place.

I would never go here again.

Work cocktail party in the upstairs function room. Great atmosphere and space for a function. Finger food was really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

If you're thinking of where to hold a large group of friends, this place is quite a good option. It's right smack in the CBD and is only a few minutes walk from Melbourne Central and Flinders Street Station.

The menu is quite extensive, offering the usual bar chows (with a small veggie selection) and the usual alcoholic drinks and some very sweet mocktails. Price is pretty reasonable and for the consumable minimum amount of A$ 25 per person (for group bookings of 10 or more pax, 6-10 pm) it's not that bad at all.

The one negative thing about the place is that they use a touchscreen for the karaoke menu which proved to be quite difficult to navigate and is much much less user friendly than the traditional karaoke songbook / number pad input system. It takes a bit of getting used to but as soon as you crack it it's a breeze.

On top of the usual English karaoke staples, there are Chinese, Japanese and other Asian songs in the menu.

Great if you're celebrating a birthday and everyone's not that fussed about hanging out at the usual bar.
