Work cocktail party in the upstairs function room. Great atmosphere and space for a function. Finger food was really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

If you're thinking of where to hold a large group of friends, this place is quite a good option. It's right smack in the CBD and is only a few minutes walk from Melbourne Central and Flinders Street Station.

The menu is quite extensive, offering the usual bar chows (with a small veggie selection) and the usual alcoholic drinks and some very sweet mocktails. Price is pretty reasonable and for the consumable minimum amount of A$ 25 per person (for group bookings of 10 or more pax, 6-10 pm) it's not that bad at all.

The one negative thing about the place is that they use a touchscreen for the karaoke menu which proved to be quite difficult to navigate and is much much less user friendly than the traditional karaoke songbook / number pad input system. It takes a bit of getting used to but as soon as you crack it it's a breeze.

On top of the usual English karaoke staples, there are Chinese, Japanese and other Asian songs in the menu.

Great if you're celebrating a birthday and everyone's not that fussed about hanging out at the usual bar.
