Friendly service on check in, rooms do need an upgrade especially in the bathrooms but for the price we didnt expect anything more.
Restaurant service and meals were great in the bistro.
All in all great for a stop over or a couple nights competitive rates, friendly service, and the convenience of having food right on site

We had booked here for a family of four including a 6ft 3 17 year old. On discovering two boys were supposed to stay on a sofa bed we arranged for a single fold out. The sofa bed looked absolute crap but we didn’t realise until bed time that it didn’t even have a mattress let alone bedding!

Hi,
Stayed here twice, on our way to the red centre from Adelaide & also on the return journey.
both stays were Saturday nights, similar sites (8 & 9) flat gravel with a little shade + power, close to amenities (clean & tidy).
Our first stay on 8/09/2018 was uneventful & we were back on the road early on the way to Uluru.
Our return stay on 15/09/2018 was good until about 3AM, when we noticed a local Aboriginal man INSIDE our camper looking for our valuables, when confronted he fled pretty quickly (empty handed) I made enough noise to wake half the park!
in short this is a convenient place to stop en route to somewhere else, but please ensure everything valuable is locked away securely & you keep the keys around your neck.
Considering this complex is across the road from the Police station they are obviously not scared, they probably break into that as well.

Our small van fitted onto a site to suit an 18' unit. There is only gravel sites, pretty level and with power (no direct water access). The amenities block has well maintained condition, plenty of hot water. 6 shower, 6 toilet cubicles plus s/s urinals and plenty of hand basins with soap & paper towel dispenser.Push button timer (20mins) re lights. Drinking water available via a $1 coin dispenser, approx 40 ltrs? within c'van yard, other available near council chambers (opposite Shell S/Stn). 2 x washing machines (coin) & dryers available. Toilet Cassette Dump Point located opposite Motel/Carvan Park premises. Convenient to township. Worth considering. Stayed August 2018.

I stayed there for a night and was impressed. Well priced at approx $130 for a room. There is a bar and restaurant. The restaurant opens at 530pm and the meals are tasty and well priced. The bar is a classic out back bar open to all. I would stay again.
