Whenever we are in Coober Pedy this is where we choose to stay. It has everything we need. Beautiful rooms with ensuite bathroom, cool and being on the edge of town is very quiet. Some rooms have a microwave, toaster, kettle and bar fridge. Others are near the communal kitchen. There are outside tables and chairs and you can overlook the desert and surrounds. It is well priced and is good value for money.

Room Tip: Tell them what you need and they will do their best to provide it

Beautiful, clean and quiet. Nice shared kitchen for breakfast. Authentic underground rooms. Very mild temperature inside. Friendly service, and even a good view from the entrance. Very highly recommended.

We had a 2 night stay, arriving late on the first night after car problems. Mike was very understanding and accommodating, staying late in the office until we arrived. There is ample parking, including fur trailers. He showed us to our room and explained the kitchen set up and complimentary breakfast which was a most pleasant surprise. Everything was in good order, the beds were comfortable and the room was a lovely temperature. The modern kitchen is small but extremely well equipped and very clean. The simple breakfast supplies were very much appreciated, toast and toppings, cereals, milk, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Great job Mike, recommended.

Stayed in the family unit for 3 nights. Definitely the cleanest accommodation i have ever stayed in. Mike was a fantastic host and very helpful with ideas about what to do in Coober Pedy. Great to experience sleeping underground. Great value for money for families. Thanks Mike

Room Tip: Family units look out over the view.

Had the best time at the underground motel, cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Mike is a great host and very helpful. Sitting out the front in the evening gives you the best sunset view and if you are up early enough go and catch the sunrise from the top of the hill
