I went alone and I just pick it because it's one of the Nomads world backpackers but I didn't expect to have an amazing 5 days there. All people and staff is so lovely, I made a lot of friends, I travelled with them and I felt like at home. Lea, the French recepcionist was amazing and lovely. I really enjoyed there.

I had a private room with bathroom here and it was basic, small, dimly lit with leaky taps and thin walls. Bring earplugs if you have noisy neighbours, you'll be hearing everything including the TV show they watch. I guess most of the employees are traveller/backpackers who are working to make some money so don't expect any service or anyone to help you out if you need anything after 7pm, there won't be anybody. 60$ for a private room, a bit pricey but I guess that's Australia prices. It's strictly okay for a night or two. They do have a useful open kitchen, an iron and board, free laundry and tv room so it's not all bad.

I chose this hostel because of the car park, they offer you to sleep in the car if you want to. Otherwise you got a free parking spot and can take a room as well. It's a very small hostel in a quiet area, but still close to the city. The bus is running directly in front of the hostel and the hire bikes for free.
The rooms are comfy, some even with shower inside. Hostel gets cleaned everyday.
The TV room is great, including foxtel (very good if you want to watch international spirts events like uefa ).
I came in a very quiet season, It's relaxed and you'll have some good nights with great Dinner and company there.
If you need help with anything, ask at the reception - doesnt matter wheather it is about travelling or a job. Especially Gary can tell you a lot about whats going on in Adelaide.
It wasnt a hostel, it was a family. Thank you for that, Adelaide Travellers Inn !

Myself and my partner stayed here from returning from travelling for 6 weeks. Although the hostel itself is very basic - the bedrooms are clean and comfortable. There was an error in our booking by our travel agent, however the manager Gary, was very understanding and helpful with the matter right through until we got the problem solved. It took lots of stress and pressure off us. They also recommended my partner for work to their friend and he managed to get a couple days work from it, which helped us out a lot. Over all, couldn't of asked for nicer management. Thank you Gary and Tom!

Room Tip: Rooms furthest away from the balcony are better for a quieter night - can hear people pre drinking b...
