Four of us stayed at Shorelines 27, two teenage kids and two adults for 10 days and it was one of the best holiday we had. The apartment is clean, big enough for 6 people and close to everything with the buggy. Please note if the buggy was not included would not recommend this place as to walk to the beach, shops or restaurants would be very tiring because Hamilton island is all hills not much straight roads. The swimming pool (The Edge) was also very nice, the view from balcony is unbelievable, the service from pick up to apartment and back to the airport was also perfect. We did spend most of the time at the main beach what was maybe 5min ride with buggy, on the way you can stop at the shops and buy some snacks for the beach or have breakfast, definitely would recommend Coles online shopping. Out of 10 days we had 1 rainy day, plenty of sunshine in January but the ocean in low tide can get very warm so we used the swimming pool at the beach. There is 3 different swimming pools at the beach and everybody is welcome to use them, we did not see any marine stingers while there and we done a lot of snorkeling. OK I know I should review the apartment but everything at Hamilton Island was just beautiful, would I recommend Shoreline 27 the answer is definitely big yes and will be back, thanks.

“Comfortable & Well Equipped Home-Away-From-Home”

We were really pleased with our decision to stay at Shorelines on the "Marina" side of the island, rather than the "Resort" side. It's lovely and peaceful, and the views are amazing. We enjoyed watching all the charter boats heading in and out every day.

The apartment was great, and came equipped with those little things that are sometimes missed - beach towels, a coffee plunger, plenty of pillows and lots of DVDs. The kids really enjoyed having a tv & DVD player in their room. The playstation is great too though the games selection is limited.

The valet service was seamless, and meant that we arrived at our apartment minutes after exiting the airport.

The two pools in the complex are great. The Edge pool is good for hanging out in or doing laps, though it's a shame that the lovely bbq facilities there are no longer in use. The Shorelines pool is a bit more like a backyard pool and doesn't enjoy the same amazing views, however the benefit is that you often have the whole pool to yourself. Both pools have large shallow areas that would suit young children who are non-swimmers. The pools at the Resort (at Catseye Beach) are pretty crowded and you are forever trying to secure yourself a sun lounge.

Shorelines is a 2 minute buggy ride to the Marina and associated shops, or a 6 minute trip to Catseye beach.

Our favourite restaurant was Coca Chu - quality food and surroundings but not pretentious. If you're looking for pretentious try Bommies at the Yacht Club. We quite enjoyed our dinner there, but wouldn't necessarily rush back. The Manta Ray is relaxed and family friendly, though we skipped the kids buffet and stuck to pizza instead - the buffet looked dreadful.

We recently stayed at Shorelines 27 & thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We found it to be clean & well presented & the view amazing.
My son loved the new buggy & enjoyed playing the PlayStation. Having exclusive access to The Edge swimming pool was a real highlight - what an amazing pool with amazing views.
Will definitely revisit & can sincerely recommend Shorelines 27 as a great place to stay on Hamilton Island.

“Absolutely Perfect!”

From the moment we landed, we felt it would be a special holiday! We have been coming to Hamilton Island for 12+ years and this is one of the best places we have stayed on the island.
Firstly, the meet and greet / valet service provided was fantastic. Even though we are HI veterans (& know a little bit about the island), there were other travelers that were first timers to the island and Dylan (the driver) was really informative, friendly & helpful.
Apartment 27 was just superb. The view was breath taking.......perfect just to kick back on the balcony and enjoy a sunset or two......or fall asleep. Even from the main bedroom, the views in the morning & early evening were wonderful. So relaxing looking out onto Plum Pudding Island/Dent Passage.
The apartment was lovely and clean & the linen was fresh. The kitchen was well equipped, but we only cooked one night..... we love dining at our favourite restaurants (Romano's and Mariners) when we're on the island......probably a bit too much! We only prepared breakfast and sometimes lunch each day; but we had everything we needed if we wanted to do more cooking.
Fortunately we had beautiful weather, so our son wasn't glued to the TV or Playstation that was available.....but I can imagine on a very wet day, it would be a different story!
Very handy having the two pools so close to the apartment. The Edge Pool which is just a short walk down some stairs from #27 is just the most spectacular pool on the island. Even though it was a little cooler than we expected, we still enjoyed hopping in there. The beach towels were provided in the room........bonus!
Another bonus was that we didn't have to hire a buggy because the buggy comes with the property.......perfect for getting around the island.
So many activities to do on Hamilton Island, but we really enjoy just chilling out and watching the world go by. Overall, our stay was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have asked for better accommodation, or a better stay (for our budget). We will definitely stay in this apartment again too.
