Stayed last night (Monday night) & got this for a great price for the three of us. Lovely greeting on arrival as the young Asian guy rushed to help us get our bags down the stairs as I had taken us in the carpark entrance by accident! Lovely & friendly staff at reception, nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was big & exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable, carpet was clean too a rarity in hotel rooms these days. The real surprise was that they provided a toothbrush & toothpaste & I have never seen that ever in any hotel I’ve stayed in. Lovely shampoos, conditioners & bath gels & plenty of them, bath towels were thick & luxurious & the shower was clean with plenty of hot water & water pressure. Over all a lovely stay & im glad we’re staying again on Friday night, before our return home.

靠近鐵路方便但是真的很吵⋯⋯浴室的花灑乎冷乎熱,洗澡到後面突然被燙到很痛,但是交通真的很方便,不論是去哪區都很便捷
We have heard weird,annoying, and disturbing sound from the window since I walked into our room.I told the front desk immediately, and I just got nothing but indifference.
Shower is not so stable that we have to adjust the temperature of water all the time.

We stayed here for 6 nights and Hotel Jen is a awesome place plus it has the most fabulous restaurant Nest in the building.
The rooms are nice and clean, the staff are fabulous and friendly. Beds are comfy and rooms roomy..
Location is great, situated right next to Roma Street station and only a short walk to Queen Street Mall.
Def recommend Hotel Jen - thanks

Booked Hotel Jen at the last minute after a very stressful issue with our booking at another hotel. Hotel Jen is located next to the Roma Street Station, which makes it super easy coming from the airport. Even the friendly train staff member directed us to the hotel entrance. The foyer is colourful and modern. We were greeted warmly and check-in was efficient. The room was clean, well-appointed and modern, with two double beds, good quality linen. Toiletries were surprisingly good quality - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and moisturiser all infused with lavender oil! There was also an in-room coffee machine with pods. Buffet breakfast was included in our room rate but can be purchased for $20 per head - good value considering the quality and choice (Mecure nearby is $35). Breakfast onsite at Nest included the standard range of cereals, toast, pastries, hot food, fruit, plus some added extras such as a pancake machine, juicing machine with big bowls of fruit and veggies to make your own juice combo, and honey freshly collected from their sky garden on top of the building. There was also a chef to make eggs to order, delivered right to your table (we enjoyed poached eggs, omlette with the lot, with avocado). We also enjoyed dinner at NEST which creates contemporary and flavoursome Asian cuisine (.g. calamari, corn fritters). Often it's the little things that take a hotel from good to great. I appreciated the little touches, such as the "hydration station" in the foyer - sparkling and still water on tap, beside a mini fridge with fresh lemon and lime slices - very refreshing after a long day exploring the city. The hotel is about 5 mins walk into the city centre, which was perfect for us. The only drawbacks of Hotel Jen - the pillows seemed fluffy but sank into pancakes (no other options in the cupboard), and the trains can also be a little noisy despite their installation of "acoustic curtains". I would suggest asking for a room on the opposite side to the station. Overall, would highly recommend. It's a shame to hear that Hotel Jen will be demolished at the end of 2020 to make way for a new station precinct :(

Location is excellent - right next to the Roma Street Railway line - which can be good and bad as you can definitely hear the trains most of the night and we were on the 12th floor. The staff were super friendly and very helpful and it is a credit to them. The hotel could do with a larger cover on the bed to stop us fighting over the bed cover all night (no top sheet - just a cover) and no spare blankets we could find. Couldn't get the coffee machine in the room to work and only god knows what is in that freeze dried coffee - but we all make mistakes - mine was trying to drink that - ewwwww !!! And the shower is over the bath and the taps are a big difficult too.
