Great camping spot along the Plenty Highway.
Large sites in a huge area.
Clean facilities & some activities if you desire. Close to fossicking fields.
Very good rates. Over all an enjoyable place that I recommend

We have stayed here twice now and both times we can only find positive things to say. The staff are friendly and the facilities are well maintained and the amenity block was always clean. The beautiful bush surroundings are just perfect and a wonderful way to experience outback Australia. Would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed overnight on our way across the Plenty Highway and had a wonderful stay.
The staff and family are very welcoming. We joined the camp over dinner and Kate shared sone family history with everyone, which us and the kids all loved.

We heard word of mouth in Alice Springs about Gemtree fossicking for Garnets. While it was going to be our night stop before we headed across the Plenty Highway {which was in excellent condition despite what people had told us} after hearing the great finds some people had while fossicking, we decided to spend the next half day joining in. We had many finds and quite a few good sizes to be cut and set for jewellery. We stayed in the demountables and they were clean and comfortable with hot showers after a long day. Our evening meal was delivered by Dave on the 4 wheeler Quad bike as we were some distance from the kiosk. Well worth the visit
